We are proud to announce that the North Sioux City Fire Department has been recognized as a Gold Helmet Department by the National Firefighter Registry for Cancer (NFR)!

This distinction recognizes fire departments with at least 50% or more than 300 active firefighters enrolled in the NFR for Cancer.

We are also proud to be the first Gold Helmet Department in South Dakota.

Thank you to our members for supporting the National Firefighter Registry and helping bring awareness to firefighter cancer risks and prevention.

We appreciate the recognition from the NFR and are proud to support this important effort.
