The North Sioux City Fire Department is proud to welcome John Hoggard as our new Fire Chief.

Chief Hoggard comes to us from Mississippi bringing nearly 20 years of experience in fire service, EMS, military service, and leadership. Most recently serving as an Assistant Chief of Training, he has held nearly every rank in the fire service and has extensive experience working alongside both volunteer and career firefighters.

“I am honored and excited to serve North Sioux City,” said Chief Hoggard. “I’m looking forward to building on the department’s strong foundation, supporting our firefighters, and ensuring we’re prepared to meet our community’s needs for years to come.”

Please join us in welcoming Chief Hoggard and his family to North Sioux City. We look forward to the future under his leadership!
